We always crave the yummy junk food when we are on a certain diet. Let’s admit it: JUNK food is delicious!
Can you think of anything more tasty than a crunchy box of french fries? I personally wouldn’t give it up for anything in the world!
Unfortunately, we can’t always eat junk food as it’s full of fats and hundreds of other unhealthy ingredients. And as much as I hated the word “healthy” before, as much as I’m now more convinced of its importance !

It’s not only for weight loss (even though that’s how it all started for me), but more of a lifestyle.
Whenever I eat “clean food” I sleep better. I don’t get any migraines. No hurt burn and definitely more energy!
I can’t say I’m 100% there; but I’m trying to shift my lifestyle and discard all my bad eating habits.
Let’s get back to these super delicious wedges!
These were baked with 2 TBsp of olive oil (for the whole batch) and seasoned with amazing spices. They came out crunchy and extremely delicious.
Who said you can’t enjoy good food while staying healthy??
Ingredients:
Serving : 4 persons
Prep Time : 10 mins
Cooking time : 20 mins
Total time : 30 mins
- 3 large russet potatoes
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp rosemary
- 1/2 tsp thyme
- 2 TBsp olive oil
Instructions:
- Wash potatoes very well, and cut them in medium size wedges
- In a bowl toss all the spices and herbs and mix well
- Add the wedges and let them coat well with all the herbs and spices.
- Add olive oil and mix everything thoroughly
- Spread on a baking sheet . You don’t have to leave big space between every wedge.
- Bake in a preheated oven 200 C for 20 mins or until golden crispy.
- Enjoy with a side of sour cream !
